Then starting the process of going and knocking on doors was so difficult. Not everyone even knew the terrible things I’d done to them. For example, I had to go knock on the Johnstons’ door and let them know that, while they weren’t home, I broke into their house, broke into their gun safe, and stole two competitive shotguns and hocked them for $80 worth of methamphetamine. That’s not an easy thing to do, but I love that story because it shows me what God’s power is all about.
